Hello, all.
It has been a long time since I was here. I want to say hello to all those who WERE here way-back-when.
If permissible (it used to be), I would like to announce that RACEVB6 is alive and well; the web site is
http://www.racevb6.com
All are welcome. For those of you who are not familiar with RACEVB6 (or those of you who have forgotten it), RACEVB6 is a VB6 pcode analyzer; I hope you will find it an interesting tool.
Mods: please feel free to delete or move this post as appropriate.
Thanks

Dang! I remember you both. (So, who is showing their age now?)
I hope to be here more often now, especially if I can help with VB6 PCode stuff.
Fond memories, guys/gals!!

Strange that no-one seems to have coded a full VB decompiler yet...
Maybe the code is just too "obvious".

That's not necessarily true. No one has
publicly released a full VB decompiler. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors

Geesh!
They sure have been keeping this under wraps, people have been asking for over a year whether or not the "lite" version has a big brother and if it was going to be free or cost - well that answers that question - I've had some problems with the lite version so I'd need more info before I spent my bucks.

No software tool can "crack" a program, (there are some exceptions, but protection specific), usually the tool that works best is between your ears.

RACE is a tool, how you use it is up to you. It certainly gives you a lot of information of what VB is doing under the hood, as opposed to simply showing you a pseudo-source output. I suspect you would want to use RACE along with a few other file analyzers, to get the greatest amount of data out, then use the one between your ears to determine what to do with all that info.

Hi Sarge:
I believe you meant to say RACEVB6 has been updated to version 6.4.4, which is what the Website shows.
I have updated the CRCETL entry for RACEVB6 to show the current version and date.
