Trump Says the Military Should Pay for the Wall

Okay so…

Let me try to get this straight…

Trump signed a spending bill that had no funding for the wall and virtually no funding for any type of border security, but a whole shitton of funding for the war machine, so now he’s saying the military should have to pay for the wall.

Hm.

Okay.

I don’t think that’s really how budgets work. But, theoretically, he could, as the commander in chief, simply order the military to do this. I mean I am sure he has the power to just say “hey military, go build a wall.”

So is that then what he is going to do?

I don’t know, but I doubt it.

Here’s another weird tweet.

Much can be done with the $1.6 Billion given to building and fixing the border wall. It is just a down payment. Work will start immediately. The rest of the money will come – and remember DACA, the Democrats abandoned you (but we will not)!

Well, the budget is only done once a year.

So what does that mean, a down payment?

Is this related to the previous tweet, and the military going to pay the rest of it?

And why, o why, are we talking about the DACA babies? No single Trump-supporter cares about these DACA babies. We just want them out.

“Democrats are the real DACA baby abandoners” is a horrible, terrible narrative.
