Is there a 'Hacker" working at Intel?
According to a story on CNET News.com, Intel is looking to add Wi-Fi to cell phones to help 911 call-centers to locate emergency callers. I don't know how many times I have heard companies saying 'we need wireless here'. I hate proving when wireless is a bad idea but it occurs that it is not been a good idea to base anything on 802.11b. First you have wardriving and people finding APs. You have stores like Best Buy, with thier cash machines on it, that was a disaster. What now, everyones cell phones. It's not a good idea to share any info on 802.11 without proper security, like firewalls and dmz's. Read more here

September 11th one year anniversary
The one quote that I have seen on a television show that stuck with me today was: It took iron workers over five years to build the World Trade Center Towers, Terrorists destroyed them in 102 minutes.

I am finding myself addicted to the news right now. I lost two friends in the events of last year and I don't want to see it happen again. Lets hope for a good ending for this terror and evil. Lets get back to petty bullshit and hacking problems again.

What is worse than the raising Terror Alert To 'High' For Sept. 11?
I hate to be self-centered but I lost all my data on my laptop yesterday due to a windows service pack. I tried everything I could with the limited tools I had, but no luck. I didn't lose anyones t-shirt orders but personal documents and others. I will get through it though. Could be worse, we can be going to war soon.
