The CP3000 Family of Connectivity Processors combine high performance with the massive integration needed for embedded communications applications. A powerful RISC core with on-chip SRAM and Flash memory provides high computing bandwidth, hardware communications peripherals provide high I/O bandwidth, and an external bus provides system expandability.

Extensive on-chip communications peripherals allow optimization for a wide variety of connectivity applications.  The first of our CP3000 family devices provide single-chip solutions with Bluetooth™  Lower Link Controller, USB, CAN, ACCESS.bus, Microwire/PLUS, SPI, UART, and Advanced Audio Interface (AAI).  Additional on-chip peripherals include DMA controller, PCM/CSVD conversion module, timing and watchdog unit, versatile timer unit, multi-function timer, and multi-input wakeup.

Hand held and portable applications can be both smaller, and lower in cost for maximum consumer appeal.
