Is there a way to engineer the site to go down for 2 weeks? In that time, engineer the banning of anyone with under 1000 posts, unless vouched for by someone with a higher number, or invited by a Mod or something? When I registered here, discussions were intelligent and well-spoken and rarely strayed far from topic. People replied to offer incite and counter points. Now people reply to make fun of my mother.

I'm pretty new here, but would have to agree with the whole banning lots of people thing. I've noticed that in the time between when I started and now(not very long) that there seem to be an incrased number of idiots posting about how cool they are because they do drugs, and posting in ebonics. I'm all for the idea. Except for that I'd probably get banned because of how new I am, unless one of you wants to vouch for me...(if you do this that is.)

Totse.com is about freedom of speech, not about banning people that have less then one thousand post under there name. It's just illogical, considering totse.com is based on the freedom of speech.

I won't go as far as to agree with Bullgod or to post another Bitch & Moan thread. But I posted a valid question in Spurious and had the thread closed without an answer or just explanation. I'm sure Snoopy must have his/her redeeming qualities, but the way (s)he polices Spurious Generalities is beyond annoying and bureaucratic.
