The mail server is back on-line, and registration has been re-enabled. Anyone who changed their e-mail address or lost their password you should have gotten mail by now with the password. If not, enter your mail address here to get a copy sent to you:

Unless the mail server you're using is black-holing totse.com, you should get the mail. If you don't, try using a different e-mail address on a different mail server.

I still need to set up a POP/IMAP server so I can download the mail that's being sent to me, but at least the mail server is storing it in a safe place.

Still need to fix / build:

* IMAP/POP server.

* Submissions page.

* Feedback page.

* Admin mailing list.

* New BBS software.

I'm glad the mail server is working for users but do you have any eta for when the list will be back? It realllly helps to be able to mail the list to request bans/discuss problems away from the eye of the totse public.

I'm glad things are moving along smoothly and I'm really glad to hear we may be getting an updated BBS at some point.

And like scores of others have before me I must say, Post more. Not to contribute, but because I love seeing all the Jeff Hunter fanboys out there.

Yes, I am working on it. Unfortunately the latest version of the mailing list software I was using appears to have some serious bugs in it so I'm looking at other options. I'll probably be installing Mailman this week and get the list back up again.

I appreciate the hard work Jeff. We're trying to stay afloat with this wonderful wave of spam posted in SG since the opening of registration...but having the list up again should help ease that some.

Any word on when we may upgrade the BBS?
