Answering these questions will only encourage similarly mindless threads.

Actually, yes, if you genuinely feel remorse for what you have done. Tricking doesn't work though, he can read your thoughts.
I'm not christian, but that is what I learned during the time I had to go to church.

No such thing as hell. Everyone gets into Heaven but only when they have reached full understanding (they repeatedly reincarnate until this happens).
Killing people isn't a wise thing to do and I don't advise it, but the misery that you'll experience will teach you something at least.

Which makes me wonder... how about, say, a bipolar person, who kills, then suddenly has a fit of remorse, and dies begging forgiveness?

I'm guessing god would throw him a bone and let him in.
Use common sense you basterd...It would be forgiven but there is always something that will get in the way of your thoughtless plans.

God does not forgive--to forgie, one must be hurt or offended, and god can be neither hurt nor offended. God loves and creates, and wishes us to do the same.
God will not give a shit if you go on a killing spree, there is no hell, no divine punishment. Punishment on earth, however, will be a bitch. Can you say "lethal injection"?

Yes, you are correct, while I may not be a good christian I am a christian non-the-less. And yes, if you are truly sorry for whatever you have done and rightfully ask for forgiveness, then Jesus will forgive you. Yet, if your actions are pre-meditated, I see no way you could be truly remorsefull for such actions, or you would have never commited them in the first place. So if you are going on the basis that all is forgiven if you merely ask, then you are wrong. If I were to plan out an assasination on the archbishop, kill him, then just before I pull the triggar on myself to commit suicide, meanwhile asking for forgiveness for committing suicide as well, then I would go to hell. Hell is no place you want to be either. Im sure youve heard the rest and get the point, so Ill leave you with that.
