Anyone on that?

To the best of my knowledge, Sufis are honest to their heart as much as honest to the external practice of Islam.

Does it mean weak or beginner sufis will not necessarily be that accurate in external religious practice?

An example: you build an house. Your neighbours go fast and are already building the secon floor. You keep working on the perfection of the plans, and are not building so fast. You don't want to build the second floor while the ground floor isn't perfect yet.

Same: Religious practice has got to be a reflection of inner life.

Why do so many bitter hearts pretend to be good, practicing moslims/christians/Jews while their hearts is still a place for scorpios and snakes?

Better drink wine, and enjoy a moonshine under God's vault, than act as an imitation monkey under the sun. Oh yes, the ideal lies under the commandments, but if I'm not refined enough to be true to the core of my heart, I won't perform a commandment just for the fake of God...

Omar Khayyam's Robayat is about good life. It is allegorical. He is not really deep inside praising sin, wine drinking and all the physical pleasures, just stating that he prefers being true to God and insure his rejection by fake saints and external practice fanatics whose hearts is rotten to the core and full of pride "for the good cause"...

His religious quest is of God as a friend, not as a fearful commander. Yet deep inside he will do God's will, of course, but not for the sake of heavenly pleasures or for the fear of hell. Just because the love of God is like wine and women, it is something that inebriate you.

And as soon as your piety is recognized and you are fashionable, you can't breath anymore, you need to put some extra veil between you and you neighbours, so that you find God's intimacy again.

This is why the system hates real mystics.

It eventually glorifies them after their death, but they are living proofs that God is not subject to the monopoly of hypocrite leaders and 'good flocks'.

Destroy!!!

Good post. That's what christianism is (supposed to be at least) all about, isn't it? Why wash your hands 7 times before meals if on the inside you have no virtue?

Yeah, just that then, why not wash your hands six times before bread if you internalized the experience, and are aware of the system it activates?
