Lemme try and counter-point this.

1. Having close relatives who have died of cancer I know that it is a very painfull and drawn out thing that not many deserve. If God loved us why would he inflict such a horrible thing on good people.

2. Wars are started by people who 'fail to heed God's message' yet, funny as it is, those people rarely die before taking thousands with them.

You can't prove God did it...

Most Cancer, if not all (it has not been 100% proven in al cases), is caused by bad nutrition and diets, drugs/stimulants, and exposure to outside elements.

No dear, you are serving as a perfect example for that.

I'm going to try to serious up here. Maybe we are all kind of missing the point.

"Good," "bad," "cool," and so forth are just labels we put on things. As a rule, these labels do nothing more than denote what we do, or do not, approve of.

I am no great fan of cancer, war, or Silver Lights. Granted, all are unpleasant and destructive. I am willing to take it on faith that all three have a part in his grand scheme of things.

But let us try to see this from god's perspective. We all have immortal souls, after all. We all have lived/will live thousands of lives.

In the context of infinity, is it all really that important what happens in any one of them?
