Alright lets say hypothetically that the world was divided into three groups, the three main religions, Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all other religions or denominations, disappear. Out of the three lets say they all go to war with each other, who would win? I do not know who would win, but I think that the Jews would lose based on there man power, and there history of being conquered, the Christians would have very good technology (referenceing from history) but average morale, and the muslims(also based on previous events) would have poor technology but very good morale. Please no opinions just facts based on history or previous events. and no opinions just intelligent guesses.

I would go with the Muslims. The reason: they believe in Holy Wars in their Bible.

If the Catholic Church actually listened to Christ then they wouldn't fight anyways.

I think the thing you have to realize is that there are many people who say they believe in whatever, but they really don't. So if all the non-believers disappeared, you'd have a much smaller number of Christians (especially in America), and probably some shrinkage of Muslims and Jews.

Without a doubt, the Christians would prevail, as previously pointed out...its all about the technology. Also, as already stated, Christianity and Islam (if actually practiced) are completely pacifist religions. Jesus said "turn the other cheek," and Muhammed said something akin to letting yourself be killed before raising a hand in violence.

The Jews, in theory (according to the rules of religion) would kick everyone's asses...Of course, isn't one of the ten commandments THOU SHALL NOT KILL...but then again didn't YHVH command the Hebrews to slaughter the Caananite men and rape their women? GOD DAMN, religion can be so confusing.

But seriously, isn't Buddhism THE major world religion (I guess they would all just kinda zone out and wait 'til the blood bath drained).

it might be, I do not know but I am only talking about the religions of Islam Judaism and Christianity, Technology is a key factor, but in all wars, especially wars of old morale is an extremely strong tool/

well alot of interesting stuff were brought up so id like to point a few things out...

judaism is a warrior religion same with islam.

The God of the old testament was no "turn the other cheek sort of god" he was a war god, even in the old research and as pointed by one of the posters here, Yahweh declared em Caananites to be exterminanted, Abraham was a warchieftain, aside from being a prince/priest. David was a guerrilla leader king. Historically speaking the jews were pound for pound, one of the best gorilla warefare nations in the ancient world.

Islam until very recently circa mid 1800s to present were very much in control. All the Biblical lands were in their hands for centuries and for most of those centuries the muslims were technologically and culturally superior to the west. ASide from the fact that they had alot of morale.

Well Christians get the short end of the stick here, morale wise is terrible compared to the jews and moslems, though superior technology (these days) to the moslems (doesnt the west supply Israel weapons or their weapons are western in design). A more liberal society (alot of technological improvements and such), thriving economies so their pretty well off in some aspects.

Sounds like a good idea for a computer game.

Christianity would win, I think. It may have bad morale, but morale always tends to improve if you're actually in the situation of someone trying to kill you. You dont' have much other choice. Apart from that, it has the best weapons and so could easily destroy Islam. Judaism doesn't have much of a chance I'm afriad, as its so small.
