The universe includes the laws of cause and effects, but is not limited by them: there are ways to escape the mind dictatorship of duality, binary cause/effect prison. Mind needs recreation from these purely materialistic ways.

The nature of the universe is cause and effect, but there probably is the cause of all effects, and human mind by nature transcends its condition in order to cleave to the middle-path of reasonable madness, or some way to integrate both our logical and our artistical/mystical dimension.

To put it in a straight-forward logical way, we need to aim at some balance between right and left brains, which implies some compromission in terms of the rational/analytic brain, because one can't say "hey, I'm having my 5 minutes right-brain pause". You got to identify to both brains, and to integrate both aspects of manifestation as understood by your brain.

There is nothing less rational than a rationalism-addict. Of the proper use of drugs...
