The only meaning to life is to realize that there is no meaning to life other than this realization. This realization is the meaning....seriously.
Am I saying there is no meaning to life? No. Look at the words "other than" in the paragraph above. This is stressing that there is only one answer. This is in no way saying there is no meaning. Does anyone see the appropriateness of there only being one answer to all questions? But the world is running around looking for multiple answers, multiple beliefs. This will never be true.

So it's a realisation, not a meaning.

Life is an end in itself and gives everything else meaning.
^ Yeah
and I guess it's only humans who give anything meaning. Anything else has a 'Fuck meaning let's just be and enjoy being' kind of attitude.

What's your point? I don't get it.

The trouble with this idea is that it does not answer any questions, or anyway, not very many questions. To us, it looks like life is the big thing, because that is all our experience tells us. But we don't even know what life is, so this really tells us very little. We can't even define life, so how does it tell us anything?
Maybe I should have said

To realise that there is no 'meaning to life' is not a meaning it's a purpose. IE: My purpose is to realise that there is no meaning to life.
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you mean by 'Meaning to life'.
When you get variations such as:
Meaning to life,
Meaning of life,
Purpose of life.
It gets confusing

Humans created meaning, and reason. No wild animal cares to know why something is the way it is, nor does it need an explination for things. If the majority of the living creatures on earth all think like this, and only a small percentage demand meaning and reason, then which group do you think is most likely right? Especially considering all the animals on earth have been able to survive and live as long as humans, yet never destroy the earth, whipe out species' and create disease and worldwide violence, etc.....
What I'm trying to say is, we most likely live wrong. Okay, if we were created by [a] god, and put on this planet with all these animals don't you think we were probably supposed to live like these animals? Think about it. Over the course of a few thousand years we've managed to destroy the planet emensly, pollute space, heavely populate the planet [damn near over populate], kill thousands of people and other animals [and not just for survival purposes, we kill more for fucked up reasons then we do for survival, by far], and all kinds of other shit. Do you think [a] God would want to create a society of creatures that would only survive for maybe 5000 years max [and I doubt we'll even make it to 3000]?
I believe we're a creature gone wrong. We should probably be livivng like the various cultures that still exist, living out in the jungle and surviving off of it.
But what this all means is if we just created meaning and reason, and we're just a creature gone wrong then meaning and reason probaby don't exist, so then there would be no meaning of life, or reason why we're all here. Well, aside from the things we create and believe, but aren't true.

as humans we have the ability to think things out. But we can only truthfully give meaning and explanation to what we create or could potentially create(beyond labor, money, etc), and so when we try to give meaning to the concept of the creation of our existence becomes impossible, so its all guesswork starting from your imagination.

And maybe just enjoying etc... is a way of realization, provided you respect some guidelines and spend some fixed time learning about the meaning and looking for it?
I mean, I personnally went into deep spiritual/religious research, and came back to some physically enjoyable life.
After the initiation I undertook, the whole taste of life is different. The most simple and trivial things are real enjoyments.
If I compare with my life before initiation/religion, it was so blank, nothing really had any taste besides sexdrugsandRn'R, which is pretty poor after you age 25 years...
And I mean, the whole sense of having no purpose, kills pleasure and you don't really enjoy life just constantly looking for strong sensations...
When there's the pleasure of simple living and surviving, only to discover.

The meaning of life is quite simple. The meaning of life is to live.
