Probably my favorite book in the bible. Ok, lets all assume the apacolypse will occur as described in the holy bible. You think the gates of hell will open and demons will pour throughout the land with the 7 headed serpent riding behind the 4 horsemen of the apacolypse? or do you think "satan" will chose a more stealthy method.

I've heard some people argue satan will be more cunning and stealth, but who cares if it's the end of the world anyways? Frankly, i'de feel cheated if the afformentioned hells gates opening and such doesn't occur.

I agree. I expect the Apocalypse to be one hell of a show, should it occur.

i recommend two things.

1. watch the late great planet earth

2. investigate the mayan calendar

there's an amazing correlation between the two, one is written over 30 years ago based upon writings over 2000 years old, the latter is 500 years old but 1500 newer than the source of the former and was also written on the other side of the earth,

they both contain a date that remarkably correspond to each other in both date and meaning.

the late great planet earth is a look at biblical prophecy compared to modern times. it corresponds the world military powers as china, russia, the arab nations led by egypt, and predicted the formation of european union, along with the collapse of the 3 horns(kings) on the beast to become 1(the leader), belgium, netherlands, and luxembourg are referred to if i am correct as benelux, with the capital being in belgium.

the beast that rose out of the sea having 10 horns, was normally thought to be the leader of the european union rising out of the sea of politics(referred to as a sea in constant turmoil), but if it is true i consider it something else.

the North Atlantic Treaty Organization is an orginization which relies on the military strength of 10 nations.

make that 3 sources, the chinese calendar as well.

the chinese calendar starts the year of the dragon in 2012.

the end of the current age of the mayan calendar, happens to fall on the winter solsctice of the year 2012.

in the bible, christ told his desciples in matthew 24:32-34;

"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh:"

"So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors"

"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."

the fig tree is often reffered to as israel, bearing forth its fruit, the rebirth of the nation of israel, or actually when they reclaimed jerusalem, in 1967 a biblical generation is 40-50 years.

so between 2007 and 2017.

is it coincidence the age of the dragon happens in 2012.

is it coincidence the end of the mayan age is in 2012.

is it coincidence that an interpretation of the bible places the end times as between 2007 and 2017 of which 2012 is right in the middle.

is it coincidence the seven year countdown starts with the treaty of israel and palestine or the roadmap to peace which gives a palestinian state by 2005, + the 7 year countdown puts the end times again, at 2012.

Yes Iv'e read some rather crazy shit that is supposed to happen on 2012. Go read the book "Nothing in this Book is True, But thats just the way things are" yes its a book and go read it and you want to know about the supposed 2012 thing. Not to mention the things in it are quite beleivable considering it makes almost all the new age prophecies and shit like that connect into one big thing that happens in 2012.

Coming to conclusions about the end (2012) the quesiton becomes what is the end? I'm not claiming it fact, merely there's no way for me to argue "no the world is not going to end in 2012" so I flow a different way. Is the end, the end meaning no more existance, nada, zilche, zero, nothingness. In which case, why would it matter? We won't be around to care, or not care, we won't even know because we won't exist.

Is it the progression of overall conciousness, meaning in leary's concept further circuits of conciousness will become more fluidly working parts of life? In which case.....telepathy? Or at least every individual having a better understand of the all and therefore feel energy. If this is the case, maybe a very good portion of the population would have to die. Not to sound morbid or un sympathetic, I just don't see a lot of people ready for that it would frighten them and create a hell rather then a heaven.

Is it the end of biblical proportions, in which case a castle of crystal descends from the sky, pearly gates, yada yada yada. In which case the evil souls disappear, the blessed souls gain entry, and the meak inherit the earth.

(My personal fave) Is the end really the begining? The cycle of lives withing the cycle of life coming to the end which is really the begining because....where is the start of a circle anyway? Massive death, tremendous explosions, wave of energy hurtling into oblivion which becomes everything. The big bang. This one goes along with my theory on ironies if you've read my previous "Are you Crazy" and "The End is Near" posts. Being that we as humans LOVE irony for some reason, next time you laugh at a joke or something think about whether or not it's ironic. Especially ironic tragedy, but the ironic thing about this tragedy is we would NEVER EVER get to make fun of it, EVER. You KNOW that if we somehow survived the end of the world, stand up comedians and everybody really would be cracking jokes about it in a couple of months if not sooner, it's just the way we are. Not this one, no one would get to laugh at the greatest joke in existance.

Or is it merely THE END OF HIGH PRICES or some similar hoax ala the simpsons.

Man, the year 2000 was a bit more than 3 years ago. Don't you remember everybody telling us the world was going to end, and how it didn't happen?

It happened in 999, it happened in 1666, it happened in 1700 and a huge number of other dates.

Never, however, has the world actually ended.

Life will continue as usual in 2012. Except we will all have flying cars.

Somehow the point of my post got a bit skewed along the way, its morphed into "when the end of the world will come." I dont care WHEN the world ends, I care about HOW it will end. It better be pretty frickin pimp. I dont want satan pulling any punches.

P.S. for those saying that they believe the world will end in 2012, then it must logically follow they believe the 2nd coming of christ has already occured. Just a thought.
