View Full Version : moses chizzeled out the ten commandments himself...FACT
did you know that moses chizzeled out the ten commandments himself while he was in the hills.
they may be good morals to live by...but they were just his personal ideas...when he got down to the people dancing around the gold calf....he had blisters on his fingers caused by over chizzeling...he also made several spelling mistakes...
you will say to me ....how do you know for a fact that he chizzeled them out himself...and i will say, how do you know for a fact that god wrote them...then i will say how do you know for a fact that they ever even existed......and you will say....the bible says so..and i will say the bible also says the world was built in 6 days and that adam and eve ate a poisonous apple and that lot was turned into a pillar of salt .....of all things....and also that moses parted the sea........
i would say get real....you can look even further back than the bible and people thought and in fact knew the world was flat...others said the sun was god and you are just following one of the latest crazes....
other excerpts from the bible say that noone has ever seen god.....this is in john somewhere......
can you not as educated individuals get rid of your ignorance and see how riduculous you are being........
and dont tell me 'jesus loves you' cause that is just a bullshit answer and anyone that puts that to me deserves fucking stoning....with granite rocks.
so the bottom line is....my answer of moses chizzeling them out himself is actually more plausible than the bullshit written in the bible....
and another thing .....if god the almighty one really wanted to get his message across.....im sure he would have come up with something a damm site more drastic than chizzeling out the ten commandments...
have you not noticed that this god of yours is very ellusive....in fact he is totally ellusive and there is not one person in the billions of people alive today that can even prove that he exists....thats enough proof for me that he doesnt.

This, from a guy who believes that the son of God was born unto a virgin, and who was resurrected three days after his death?

Unless you guys aren't familiar with eBlip, he's the guy that got a bunch of doofuses stirred up in the Conspiracy forum by telling him that he dunked a fucking mirror into a river and some kind of hand-made jickey lookin' spook came out of it and haunted/enlightened his blue-blood ass. Then, in the end, he said---nah, just kidding, I got the story out of a Carlos Casteneda book. Man, he really got those doofuses going over there. And that's what he's doing right now.
Hell, I bet in reality he's some smooth-headed, vegetable-fartin' raped-ass Hare Krishna writing all these posts in some internet cafe in an Alabama airport.
Don't let a loser like this make a damn fool out of you. Or---what the hell, let him make a fool out of you if you have to.
I mean, whatever.

What you say of Moses(pbuh) is highly untolerable you infidel blasphemer. God gave the inscribed tablets to Moses(pbuh) who was in the midst of a Godly cloud on Mt. Sinai for 6 days and then bestowed them upon him the 7th day. You should be as lucky to swallow scorching fire into your belly. The revealed commandments of God are not be defiled by your infidel mouth, blasphemer.

Lets see, God puts his law, (the law, idiot, not the ten commandents, the law, hundreds of laws, READ people READ, Cecil B Demil is not the authority on what happened) on tablets and you want more dramatic, God performs a miricle and you say it is bullshit. Jester,
This is one of those 'pearls before swine' moments. I wouldn't waste any intelligent or thoughtful argument on eBlip. He just likes to get reactions. But he has no center to either his arguments or himself. Just venom and rhetoric and a certain 'aha! I made you argue a point that I don't really care anything about' quality. All of you people out there trying to say the existence a god or other things in various holy books can't be proved, it gets annoying. Most of you say "Wheres the proof of God?" as in specifically, almost invariably, the Christian god. Why not question the existence of any religion's idea of god?
I have always questioned, yet I actually believe in the Christian's, Islam's, and Buddhism's idea of god. I actually believe there is only one god and that the 3 religeons worship the same god, just by a different name. I support my theory through the fact that the Bible is so historically based, unlike many religeons. It makes it easy to believe. There has also been evidence of some sort of afterlife. My girlfreind's grandmother actually lives in a haunted house, and everyone who has spent the night there has seen ghosts and experienced their effects. This alone proves some existence of an afterlife and spirits / souls. Then theres the case which "The Exorsist" is based on. That movie was about the real experience of real people, although the girl in real life was a boy. This to me proves the existence at least of demons, if not Satan himself. Then there are accounts of individuals seeing angels. Single individual accounts of angels may allow for skepticism but I also recall hearing a report about a group of Christian missionaries in Africa. They made camp one night and a large group of Africans who were disgruntled about Christians trying to convert them were about to attack. They never did. Instead they remained at bay. The following morning the missionaries asked why they didn't attack and the Africans said they saw a ring of glowing figures with wings and swords around the camp, and after seeing this they decided to convert to Christianity. Their account made me give credit to the existence of angels.
Then there is Islam, which gives much credit to the Christian religeon and shares many of its moral principles. It is so similar to Christianity I don't think its coincidence.
With Buddhism there is the whole reincarnation of the Dhale Lhama (sorry bout spelling). A little while after he dies a group of specially trained people look all over for little children born immediately after his death. These people place objects that were associated with the former Dhale Lhama along with other bullshit objects. Candidates must choose the items which were the Dhale Lhama's until they finally think they have the right child. Then they do further testing by people who knew the Dhale Lhama. Theres too much on this subject to continue wrighting about but to me the overall situation and history proves to me reincarnation is real. Reincarnation has no scientific basis, its only explination is spiritual. If he can get reincarnated every time he dies, he must know something about the afterlife, and he hasnt contradicted himself or said "hey been there, done that, no god" one lifetime and death after another yet.
As for the ultimate existence of God, I think there is enough evidence to support the idea that there may be one that I don't need reports of God sightings. That much I can leave to what little faith I have.

"and another thing .....if god the almighty one really wanted to get his message across.....im sure he would have come up with something a damm site more drastic than chizzeling out the ten commandments..."
God wrote the Torah with black fire on white fire. I think that pretty much got the message across.
"As the Jews stood at Mt. Sinai, they heard the Voice of Hashem coming at them from all six directions. They ran to receive it from the south, and it came from the north. They ran to the east, and it came from the west. It came from the Heavens above and from the earth below. And with each word, the whole world was filled with the fragrance of sweet spices.
Normally, in a rocky place like the Desert of Sinai, any loud noises makes an echo. But when Hashem gave the Jews the Torah, there was no echo at all.
This was a sign of the great change that was happening in the world. The world was now going to become a place that would be filled with the Spirit (the Voice) of Hashem." http://www.tzivos-hashem.org/newsletter/nl105/torah.htm

firstly.......there is no god in buddhism....these guy really know the score...nor rebirth.....after all from a buddhist point of view .....what is there to be reborn..
secondly the only reason i have discussed the christian and muslim god is that i think most readers are christian and muslim....and another thing is they speak of the same god.
if you want me to be specific then i speak of all gods ......as none of them exist...
if your girlfriends grandmothers stepmothers mothers house is haunted ....all it shows is that we are not alone.....it doesnt mean they are haunted by dead people........(i see dead people)...they are probably just other lifeforms we have yet to understand...but at least we experience them.........but please dont call them afterlife....you know nothing about these things ....yet you already have them pidgeon holed....
not like your god who is never experienced
by the way ....the story about the missionaries in africa ......maybe this is just coincidence but it is exactly the same as one in the quoran where the formidable attacking force ran away from a small army of muslims because they saw angels with swords around the camp........both stories are bullshit....because there is no such thing as angels with swords.....GET REAL
i have also known people have nervous breakdowns and behave possessed....the difference between this and the exorcist is that we did not call the bullshitting catholic priests in..........we sent them to the doctor who gave them a couple of risperdal and some prozac....please stop falling for this utter crap.
by the way buddhists dont believe in reincarnation, they believe in rebecomming..
when the dalai lama dies ....the effect of his life cause the effect of another completely different child to be born, this child is the effect of the previous dalai lamas cause....
he isnt reborn in a child like you think...
a buddhist does not think that there is any permanent entity that you may call a soul that exists in any human being ....life is just a process with nothing permanent behind it.....when the process of the dalai lama has ended it causes another process.......
they also think that you too are a process... and when you as a process ends.....another one or rather the effects of your process continue.....so you yourself will rebecome....
its worth looking into .......i am a buddhist
there is no god....

That would explain it, you infidel idolator. Go pray to your buddha statue for the salvation of all us believe in the true God of Abraham(pbuh). I would hack your statue to bits. Then Allah willing, fire would reign down from the heavens and destroy the little splinters of your god for me, as he did for Elijah(pbuh) in I Kings. All praise be upon Allah.

you can spout on all you want to and also talk of hacking up buddah statues.....bin laden actually did blow up some 3000 year old statues carved into a mountain of buddah...
and you know what.....us buddhists dont give a shit....you can hack up every statue in the world.....for we know they are just bricks and wood.....who cares .....they are impermanent and are not reality........reality is our quest and nothing and i mean nothing but that matters...
and the reality is .....allah is just a figment of your imagination........and mohamed was just a man in search of the buddah.

Judaism has a concept of "Hell" which we call Gehenom but its purpose differs from that of the Christian vision of Hell. Judaism believes that all sins are punished and all good deeds are rewarded. For the average person, Gehenom would be (hopefully) a relatively short stop on the way to Heaven. In Babylonian Talmud tractate Rosh Hashanah 17 the opinion is expressed that the longest a soul would stay in Gehenom is 12 months. After that it would either go to Heaven or be destroyed and turned into the dust upon which the righteous walk on. The truly righteous, the Talmud teaches, will probably not spend any time in Gehenom as they can be punished for their few sins on earth. Conversely, the truly wicked get their reward for their few good deeds on earth as well. As you can imagine, this is a very deep topic to which I can't do much justice to in such a small format.
Is this wrong? Not looking argument, just your opinion as I have never really looked into the subject until now.
Judaism does not have a concept of "the Devil," i.e. the Lord of the Underworld. The angel "Satan" does appear in the Hebrew Scriptures, but like all angels, Satan has no free will and takes all of his orders from G-d. Note that in Job G-d sends Satan to cause Job to suffer, but G-d is the one who takes the credit/blame and has the power to reverse the course.
I knew about Satan not appearing by name until Job(pbuh), but this interesting. It corresponds more to the Muslim view than to the Christian view. Most orthodox Muslims believe in a hell...some think it is eternal chastisement for an unholy life(I do) and some think it is a place for purification before passing on to heaven. Most believe in a negative deity (i.e. Shaitan) but he is not of the power of Allah, but is under Allah's control. Simple temptations and such are also called Shaitan as they are spawned from his role of provoking man to sin and to do things against Allah. Shaitan will emerge more powerful than expected one day and his army along with the anti-christ, will appear and fight against the forces of God, but they will lose. Christ Jesus(pbuh) will descend and slay the anti-christ at some ancient location is Israel. The he will rule 40 years and then he will die and Muslims will pray at his grave.

But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjunction to follow, for of a surety they killed him not. lol......when you said even i know that,
Then I'd be interested to know what, precisely, just what you're trying to free from the prison of existence.
If you belong to some even-crazier offshoot of Buddhism, then stop playing word games and say so.

your not trying to free anything from the prison of existence........
you are only lifting the veil of ignorance and delusion....
lift the veil of ignorance and delusion...and you will find that there is noone there to free...then that is the end of ignorance and delusion...all that remains is reality and truth...
by the way my buddhist teachers (monks) are from a line of buddhism called therevada....
apparently they are the earliest form of budhism.......but really it doesnt matter which form of buddhism your interested in.....they could all be talking shit......
the thing is you find the truth for yourself...you dont depend on what the buddah said.... or what the monks say.....after all they are just words and books......reality underlies all words and all books.
language is considered deceptive and misleading in the matter of UNDERSTANDING truth.....
and it is seen that ignorant people get stuck in words like an elephant in the mud.
i am just a man who seeks....and to a seeker of truth ..it is immeterial from where an idea comes....
i dont just jump up and defend the buddha at every possible opportunity......
a buddhist thinks its foolish to defend something that you dont clearly understand know and see.....
i defend only what i know to be true.
just to say 'i believe' does not mean that you clearly understand and see......
to force onself to believe and to accept a truth without understanding is political, and not spiritual or intellectual......
truth needs no label.....

As far as the Dali Llama, Bobby Hill is the re-incarnation, we all know that right?
Well anyway this thread started with Moses allegedly forging the 10 commandments (maybe he did maybe he didn't). It's possible. And what about the Ark of the covenent, the sparking God machine golden capacitor that nobody can touch (a capacitor will discharge if touched on the terminals). Broken down from the text of the bible and reconstructed, it is no more than that, a capacitor. And what is this Jesus (pbuh) shit? Short for grand puhbah?
OK, I'm a guy who questions everything, because I'm a guy who does not like to be fooled, and I believe some things in the bible are questionable. As far as the Ark of the cov is concerned, that's pretty high tech (for those days), but perfectly buildable from the materials at hand in their day. Maybe the blueprints were supplied by God or the elohim (aliens) as part of the plan to trick the people into thinking they've witnessed god to put the fear in them and kick start a belief system (like you can fit god in a golden box, sure). Or maybe Moses saw a way to gain influence and power over the people by giving them a fireworks display? Who knows?; but I do know this, faith means to believe without question, sorry can't do that for things unproven. I'm sure God respects me for questioning possible religious charlatens, just because it's in the bible does not mean God endorsed it, some human just included it. I believe in something bigger than myself, I do, but I like to separate the crap from the Mmmm, peanuts!

PBUH = Peace Be Upon Him
It is customary to say this after any heavenly messanger or prophet. I have stated this before, so try reading instead of asking questions that have already been answered.

That is known as an unsupported point. Putting "is" in capitals does not give extra credit to your arguement.
Disproving is the point of arguing. If you want to post something that people will not argue with, I suggest you try a different board.
And just because something is in the Qur'an doesn't make it any more true than any other religious text, so simply quoting the Qur'an is no proof of an event.
