Why don't they just not kill themselves and try to get 40 virgins in the real world? I mean it's not impossible. I doubt they would actually get 40 but they would probably get sick of virgins by the time they got to 10 anyway.

What you are referring to is taken by most orthodox muslims that I know to be a parable because man will never know how great heaven is until he is there. It had to be stated to where man could understand it. Some extremists take it literally.

It would be really bad if it were mistranslated from 40 Virginians! The 9/11 bombers go to Allah, only to find George Washington and Tom Jefferson waiting with big ass sticks. Yeah I know its stolen, but heartlessly funny none the less.
