Most people know that the protestant and catholic versions of the bible(old testament) are different, here is a list of books that are in the Catholic bible, all other common books not listed are found in both, like malachi and jonah... So these books are in addition to everything that is in a protestant bible(king james, old testament). All of these Books are found in the Old testament(obviously)

1 Maccabees

2 Maccabees

additions to Esther

The Book of Wisdom(that's what it's called)

Ecclesiasticus

Daniel(additions including The Song of the Thre You Men, Susanna and Bell and The Dragon)

Baruch(including the Letter of Jeremiah)

u know, the protestant "bible" is just a cut-down version of the real bible which means................ITS NOT A BIBLE!

The apocryphal books of the Catholic Bible were added at the Council of Nicaea (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong) and were originally rejected as inspired by the Jews. The Catholics just kinda added the books anyway. The Protestants removed them later.

Ha ha, and the land-grabbing ring-kissers of the world speak only truth. Of course they do.

The protestant bible also teachs against child molestation and the rape of young boys where the catholic bible leaves that part out or encourages it some where.

I'm just kidding with everyone. I couldn't help but toss that one in there. One major difference I know for sure is that the Catholics place emphasis on Mary and the Saints. While the Protestants just mention her and don't really talk about her that much. They also have no mention of saints except for in people's names sometimes.

The Catholic Bible is a crock. It came to light that the Vatican had been ommitting the passages alluding to Jesus having Brothers and sisters, because they wanted to preserve Mary as a virgin even unto her death. Protestants had to send in their scholars to relook at the ancient scripts. But they were mere man as well so theres some corruption there no doubt.

Hey if the first commandment is to worship no-one but God, why the fuck do Catholics worship Mary. Isnt that sin?
