im not sure if this is the right forum to be posting this, it is my first post and i think this forum would be more appropriate than any other.

im looking for input on auguste comte and herbert spencer. they were no great theologians, just some of the beginning thinkers of sociology.

im mainly interested in knowing other people's opinions about both thinker's philosophy of society.

i know this is a religious forum, but after viewing the politcal one i couldn't help but think that this one would have the most intelligent responses.

and why is there no philosophy forum, or am i just missing it?
