i have been thinking, out of all my readings of various topics from aliens to god, it seems humans are always trapped in the middle. From races conspiring to take over the world, to some dispute in heaven causing 1/3 of it to walk out with Lucifer, to me, 1 of 6 billion+ people. It always seems Earth is caught in the middle. So this brings me to this: Where do we fit into the scheme of things?

Am I just another obscure lifeform in some big big universe, or is there more to it?

Humanity's role is as the creator of those stories

Perhaps as a means for god to find out what he's not, so that he can fully appreciate what he is. This doesn't mean we aren't god, but when a mind (ours) has forgotten its source (god, truth, beauty) it lives under an illusion where it's likely to make presumtions about what it could be, which in turns induces fear.

We are less godly than other things that exist, but only in the sense that we've forgotten our roots and therefore can't express our true nature. Perhaps this is gods way of understanding what he aint.
