For the most part I dont mind religion. Im not religious my self but I dont hate religion. The reason why Im not religious is the idea of hell. The prodestant view of hell that is that if you dont repent of your sins and give your heart to Jesus then you will suffer in the fiery pits for eternity.

Now what about babys or mentely handicaped people they cant comprehend salvation. What about people in some isolated jungle village who have never heard of christianity they can just go suck shit I suppose. Also what good is there in having people suffer immeasurable misery for eternity why doesnt God just destroy there souls so that they never experience anything?

Misery on earth and having God exist at the same time I can grasp that misery on earth is because of humans God just has to not interfere, but if he sends people to hell he has direct responsibility for that.

Anyway thats why Im not religious, counter arguements welcome make me unconfortable.

Yea, but if he's "perfect" then its perfectly ok to send babies to hell because all of his decisions are "perfect". It's a stupid idea when you think about it, but if you realize how high the christian god is supposed to be, it makes sense. I'm definately not christian, but i just thought i'd point this out.

The Protestants are wrong, rejoice!

I was going to give you a drawn out explanation from the Bible to explain what hell is and other such things but you wouldn't care beyond intellectual curiosity and it isn't really worth the effort to argue it over the net.

The modern-day current Dante's inferno knock-off contradictory fundamental Christian Hell is a human construct invented by the clergy to scare the sheep into the barn for $hearing.
