OK one of my teachers told me this, so I don't really know if it's true, but if it is... holy shit there are some retarded folks out there.
Apparently in the States there is a group of christian hardliners denying Charles Darwin even existed. They don't just deny darwinism, no, they deny the man himself. A man who has a birth certificate, death certificate, a bunch of books and papers and a bunch of pictures.
Opposed to that, they have a rock solid belief in God, who has no birth certificate, no death certificate, no books or papers and no pictures at all.
I can respect the beliefs or christians to a certain extent, I believe everyone has the right to believe what they want. But denying Charles Darwin? How the hell were you trying to pull that one off?
Perhaps they'll use the same tactics as they do for dinosaur bones.

But at the same time some of them are wacky enough to deny evolution. Which is, coincidentally, what Darwin helped to prove.

Jesus, that's stupid. So darwin doesn't exist... so what? That doesn't mean there's no longer a shitload of evidence for evolution. That's like saying the journalists reporting the Second Gulf War don't exist and therefore Gulf war two did't happen.... IT DID HAPPEN. Even if they don't exist, it has still happened despite them.

Uh actually there is no evidence for evolution, just natural selection.
