wow, that is such a load of crap that i dont know where to start.
oh well, I will try.
1. I was wiccan, I am a guy
2. although wiccans dont have anything against homosexuality, the flavor of the religion is rather hetro - the whole "god and goddess" thing
3. there are fat wiccans, and there are thin wiccans, just as there are fat christians and thin christians.
4. Meaningless crap - Wiccan magick is very loosely based on western forms of ritual magick, it has meaning to the practitioner, and if it makes them feel better, its hard to argue that it didnt work.
then on the other hand, maybe it does work, who knows?
Finally, none of your arguemnts are very thought out, you seem to me like an useless ignorant fuck who gets off by bashing things he doesnt have any knowledge of.
If you had even bothered to look, you could have found some arguments against wicca that are at least partially valid.
Finally, wicca is a recognized religion in many countries, end of story, you saying its not doesnt change the fact that it is.
if you want to flame wiccans, why dont you go to www.whywiccanssuck.com (http://www.whywiccanssuck.com) for your information, rather then pulling it out of your arse.
idiot

Dude! you are an outright idiot. I have many friends who are of the Wiccan religion.
I have even read some of their info about it. And believe it or not it's older than christianity. Before you post crap like this again, try doing some actual research on the matter.

Wicca is NOT older then christianity, it was started in the 1950's.
Polytheistic "pagan" religions, such as the beliefs of the Celts, the Greeks, or the Egyptions, are older then chrisianity.
Back to wicca, it was started by a guy called Gerald Gardner, who claimed he was initiated into a witches coven that had survived. However, there doesnt seem to be a lot of evidence to support this, and a lot of people believe that he made the whole thing up, that he was just a sick old man.
He "fleshed out" the covens limited knowledge with a lot of stuff from ritual magick, the whole circle thing, ect actually comes from Christian forms of ritual magick.
Gardner was a member of the OTO (Ordo Templi Orientis) during his life, and he also knew Aleister Crowley in person.
The more recent literature on wicca has been getting worse and worse, its full of "Visualizing" things, as if magick could be performed by simple imagination, and whats worse, it is full of outright lies, like the one about it being older then christianity.
however, as screwed up as it is, its still a peaceful, spiritual, nature based religion, which recognizes equality of the sexes, thus, in my opinion, its miles ahead of abrahamic religions.

The Gardener form of Wicca is only 50 yrs old, but true Wicca has been around for thousands of yrs in one form or another.
I use to know a girl who practiced the Wiccan faith, she said she had been taught by her mother; Her mother had been taught by her mother and so forth for many generations. We are talking about 8 or more generations. I think that exceeds the 50 yrs limit set by Gardener don't you think?

Gardenarian is the first form of wicca , but not the first form of witchcraft.
There is a difference between wicca and witchcraft.
Wicca is a form of witchcraft.
Family traditions do exist, but they are not wiccan. Once again, wicca is a form of witchcraft which came about in the 1950's, as for witchcraft in itself, who knows how old it is.

Actually what she practiced was witchcraft, but she also said that it was also known as Wicca by some people.

Actually, no, it all depends on what path of paganism you follow, and Gerald Gardner only founded the Gardenarian tradition. By saying it was solely founded by him, you're leacing out all the Solitaries.

I was talking about wicca specifically, not paganism in general.
There were not any solitaries, because he was the FIRST. How could there be solitaries when the religion didnt exist yet???
The Gardenarian Tradition was the first form of wicca. You won't find wicca in any books before Gardners.

"Actually what she practiced was witchcraft, but she also said that it was also known as Wicca by some people."
Yeah, I figured it was witchcraft she practiced, since it could be wicca, as wicca is only 50 years old.
This is way off topic anyway, the original point was that some idiot was saying that wicca isn't a religion, and he is wrong.
