I came across a theory that can be offending to some:

I say atheists are superiour to theists. Why? because theists have a superior (god)... while atheists don't...

therefore, if there is a superior to theists, and none to atheists(like me), Atheists are superior...

Pls post ur comments, and any constructive remarks.

That's hardly offensive at all! In fact, it follows from the definition of each of the terms.

I see your point but I don't follow your logic. Atheists aren't necessarily superior, I've met some brain-dead atheists in my day, but they do seem wiser, since, even though some of them have had religion crammed down their throats since they popped from the womb, they can see that there is no proof for any of these myths. They are also braver, they don't need to be convinced that they can't die, and that some magical being up in the sky is watching over them and loves them with all its heart, even though if you piss him off he'll torture you worse than salt and lemon juice on an icepick wound in your forehead. They don't need to be moral out of fear(even tho some don't, same for theists), and they don't need some all-knowing holy book to tell them how to live a happy life. I'm sure that atheists have some superior qualities over theists, but to say that they are superior? Sounds like something you'd find in the bible, like women cant talk in church, slaves must obey their masters, and women can't go to heaven, cuz its only for men(this one is pretty old, so you gotta look far back, but i assure you its there).

There's no logical reason for anything to exist, it just does. The Universe is not premeditated. Things happen according to the laws of physics, and the Universe just after the Big Bang was arranged in such a way that the Universe ended up like this... not for any reason, but then there was no reason for the Universe to end up like anything else.

I understand what you are saying but you forgot to take into account that idiots exist in all circles of life.

If things follow laws then doesn't that make it predetermined? The laws of physics don't describe reality in any way, they only correlate experience. A more accurate term would have been the laws of the Universe. Certain "physical laws"(read man constructed postulates) don't hold under certain conditions. The only reason for life is the one YOU COME UP WITH, I guess this is too hard a concept to understand. Possibly, people don't like to be creative and patient, or happy for that matter.

Yes the Universe is "predetermined", but if you look really closely it says "premeditated", as in planned by somthing. By "laws of physics" I meant "laws of the Universe". I apologise if this caused any confusion, I didn't mean the laws as humans see them, rather the laws as they actually are... I thought that was obvious. There are no reasons for life to exist. "WHAT YOU COME UP WITH" is the reason to continue living given that life was not 'created' for a reason in the first place.
