OK, so the founder of mormonism has been proven to be a phony. So, is it my responsibility to tell my mormon friends? What about when they come to the door to try to convert me?

I only make a point of disproving religions to friends when they come asking for it. SO if he trys to convert you, hit back.

Where is this proof. I belive you; I would just like to have a better source in an agruement than "the bishop said it." Not that that's not a good source. http://www.totse.com/bbs/wink.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/wink.gif)

Good plan. However, the mormons continue to try and convert my buddy Dan with regular visits. Our solution?

Well, there's four Mormon churches in our town. We've gotten hammered and urinated on three. The last one is when I go home to visit this weekend. A petty revenge, perhaps, but we find it satisfying.

How about we go one step ahead and disprove every religion.

You can try to tell them...if you want to waste your time. I've tried time and time again and they still don't budge.

You're thinking "Well you probably didn't ask enough mormos..."

But I have, I actually live here in the mormon capitol of the world...*sigh*...Utah.

Hey what's wrong with utah they've got lots of cool stuff like...[null set]

Anyway I've tried discussing religion with mormons here (I too am a denzien of Utah) and it's totally useless. same with most religions, though.

I'm all for disproving every single religion as well.

Heres the Proof:

http://www.carm.org/lds/ldspapyri.htm

It's got nothing to do with Mormonism contradicting the bible, and its not a logic "proof". Is concrete evidence that their prophet Joseph Smith wasn't a prophet at all.

Pakistoned, if you can prove all the religions false, go for it, but i've never seen a religion get it's ass handed to it this badly.

PS: this source may be considered somewhat biased because it comes from a Christian Apoligetics group, but i only posted this link because they explain the story and why it proves Mormonism false very cleanly, lots of other sources say the same thing.

Interesting. I'm going to print this out and ask a couple of the more devout and educated Mormons who attend my school to check it out. I will post their reactions.
