Think about it.
Say you're a christian/jew/otherwise believer of some concept of eternal heaven/eternal damnation. Obviouslly death doesn't exist because of the after life. Eternally.
Maybe you're a science guy and believe in atoms and molecules and chemicals and all that jazz. Well then I guess that makes life the input into your brain through the senses and you (or your soul) is just your brain's chemical reaction to that and the energy shooting through synapses. You die, energy can't be created/destroyed so escapes, body worm food, but "soul" around.
Say you're an athiest you don't believe shit happens to you after you die, you just die. Well if that be the case you're dead, but you don't know or care that you're dead because you're dead. So fuck death.
Reincarnation buff? How can death touch ya? You'll simply be reincarnated into a different life form.
Every way you can look at it death either doesn't exist or it doesn't matter so fuck death.
