I'm trying to tear away from my Christian roots and find my new religion. However, I am still gripped by the fear of going to "Hell". What have you guys that were brought up Christian do?

Deep down I think you know that the whole idea of hell doesn't make sense.

Trust me, research other ideas and beliefs and your mind will be put to rest.

If God is as Godly as people say he is it wouldn't make sense at all for him to condemn you after sincerely searching for the truth.

You know it's true. You're just too afraid to make the jump. The fear of questioning your religeon has been pumped into you by the people who refuse to accept other understandings. It's a devious scheme.

Fear is bad, love is good. Fear is an obstacle to Love. Love will lead the way. Follow your heart and not the hearts of other people. It's a natural guide to keep us on the right path.

heaven is the universe and everything in it. hell is an illusion created by man.

you know compassion and have the moral awareness of right and wrong and to live without harming another living thing.

drop the hell thing. it has been instilled into you. if you want, just see it as heaven means doing good and hell means doing bad. you ain't going to hell so don't fear it.
