Without any literal interpretations as an all-powerful singualr being, what do you think god is if he, she, it, whatever exists. Would god be a being, or some sort of natural system beyond or comprehension, or maybe the universe itself is god and conscious or maybe its not conscious. Maybe the universe itself is the result of some sort of completely absract system with us as the result of the equations and systems, with us not interpreting it as we do due to some feature of the system. Maybe we all are god in a sense, createing our own consciousness that doesn't really even exist relative to any other consciousness. Or maybe the more traditional views are correct. Or maybe we're just the result of an incomprehensible number of coincidences that over the course of an incomprehensible amount of time just managaed to happen. Just wonderin whast the everyone elses opinion is.
the fact that you even have to ask what god refers to should give you a clue as to what kind of answer you'll get... the label "god" is vague because what it refers to is vaguely understood... it seems to point to many different things, some more fantastical, some philosophical, some comical... in some minds, god may mean something directly opposite to others.
if you ask me, the most accurate reference for the word is the experience of divine inspiration. communion with the absolute, the supreme. pure and simple.

God is ignorant to our illusions, it just knows itself and us in it's likeness, perfect and complete, life itself. What life is about for you is part of what God is, the experiences of all life put together is the conciousness of god, the good the bad, the mediocre, all of it.
