they're idiots because they completely miss one of the main aspects of christianity: the fact that jesus HAD to die.

they don't realize that, because of sin, they themselves and every other human on earth is to blame for jesus' death, NOT just the jews.

Some of the people who have a lot of the responsibility for killing Jesus were jewish. It isn't stupid to believe that, that's just the way it is. What's fucking stupid is to still blame people in modern times for something that their ridiculously distant ancestors from 2000 years ago did.

you obviously don't get my point. i'm saying that it was a GOOD thing that jesus was killed. if he wasn't killed, we would still have our sins hanging over us. i know that the jews wanted to kill jesus and it was pretty much all their fault. HOWEVER, christians should be THANKING the jews for killing christ because it saved the world. christianity teaches us about sin, and also teaches us that jesus had to die to absolve our sins, so, in essence, it is all our faults that jesus died.

Yeah if they're gonna hate someone for what someones ancestors did, they should hate the Romans, their ancestors carried out the killing.

Jesus was going to die anyone so it is stupid to blame the jews, it would be stupid to blame the jews anyway because of what a123x said. However, Jesus came to save the jews and they were the people that treated him the poorest. Still no reason to hate anyone, but it is interesting how the story of Jesus turned out.

The way I see it the Jews had reason to treat him poor. Would you freakin believe a dude who said he had powers and he was the son of God? And he was born to rule you.

They say he healed ppl, yet those ppl began this worship of him. I think they had good reason to persecute Jesus. These ppl he claimed to have healed became followers of him. That makes it look like they all had it set up, and the ppl weren't really hurt to begin with.

In modern times we call this a SCAM. It is still being done in Churches today, and making so called followers of God rich. If one of these so called healers said they were the son of God would you believe them? If they were truly religious ppl, the money would not matter. The religion would.

Jesus did have to die, yes, but he didnt have to die the way he did... and if you say the jews were not responsible-well not all of them-jesus did give them a chance to escape the Roman destruction of Jerusalem, by prophesying about the roman arrival and the time to get out....but you forget one vital thing-the new testament speaks several times of the scribes and pharisees plotting to kill him after he showed them up to be hypocrites. also in front of pontious pilate, the jews said "let his blood be upon us and our children"..then pilate washed his hands of the matter. so the jews of the time were to blame yes-the romans only executed him because of jewish pressure and fear of uprising. The jews of the time were to blame...thats the main thing, not the current jewish people.

Only stupid people hate jews for killing jesus. The rest of us hate the jews for what they do now.

It was well known how the Romans carried out death. He used this thing as a catalyst for starting a new religion. His death was his own fault. He wanted t die.

The jewish priests killed Jesus, but if we should treat anyone with suspicion as a result of it it's people using religion for their own gains (*cough* Mel Gibson */cough*) rather than Jews. The regular Jews loved Jesus, and Jesus himself was Jewish, but those in power saw him as a threat, not least of all the Jewish high priests whose manipulation of religion of their own gains was being threatened. Just like the use of religion by many far right arabs is being threatened by globalization of culture today, leading to a similar reaction.
