you wont find much books but search the internet for buddhism

confucism has basically borrowed many ideas form buddhism.

No, you don't understand!

You can find plenty of books about buddhism, alot of them written by the dalai lama. Just look in any decent book shop and you'll find some. Somehow I feel it is neccesary to say "fuck that" to finding info on buddhism on the internet...

I you wan't to know about Buddhism I would highly recomend the Biography of Milarepa, He's a highly regarded Buddha from the middle ages.

"The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying" (Not the Tibetan Book of the Dead, I wouldn't recomend that for a start up read) is also very good, or I thought it was when I read it.

I always thought that Confusism was older than Buddhism, at least is was in China before Buddhism was, I'm not completely sure about this but fairly confident.

I beleive there is a central text to it, but I don't know the name, probably your best bet.
