View Full Version : Did God/Jesus care about the rest of the world?
Why has everything religious happen in the Middle East? What about the rest of the world, such as the Native Americans, Africans or Asians? Were/are they unimportant?
I think I have the answer. It's all bullshit. If God loved everyone, he would have let everyone know, not just those in the Middle East. Why would he leave it up to them to 'convert' everyone else? Places like Temple Mount aren't holy, they're just located in the area where Christianity/Judaism/Islam started. I'm sure some group of insane people looked at some plateau and declared it holy. It doesn't seem right that the Native Americans, Africans and Asians were 'left out' of all this holy business.

Mormons think that after he was resurrected Jesus popped over to North America to spread the good word.

Some say that the soul is born in an appropriate environment to their current level of spiritual progress.
It's like starting in the shallow end of a pool and working your way to the deep end.
A "young" soul may begin its life in the more ignorant areas of the world such as Europe, or America where everyone is influenced by media and commerce. As your spiritual life develops (over lifetimes) you are born into more spiritual communities. India is probably towards the end as it's one of the most spiritual places in the world.
There's no point someone who isn't advanced into India as they won't understand a thing, and likewise there's no point putting an advanced soul in an ignorant community as they won't benefit much.
As full of shit I think that is, it's interesting. Will give me something to think about for a little while.
So apparently most souls aren't ready to go 'past' China eh.

Technically, only the three major monotheistic religions began in the middle east. Those events just seems so major because the "tribal" beliefs of those involved (Islam and Christianity weren't originally very evangelical, and it could be argued that Judaism still isn't) caught on world-wide.
