Stop doing it and just meditate.

No, go, right now!

Think of it this way: When you see a red light, do you stop or go? When you see the sign blinking "Don't walk" do you listen to it? How many millions of words do you read and listen to, how many songs, how many friends do you constantly talk to, bills you pay, jobs you do... Can you actually even focus on just ONE thing? Can you actually just sit there, close your eyes and not think?

"With my feet upon the ground

I lose myself between the sounds

and open wide to suck it in

I feel it move across my skin"

Just try that, standing up, listening to a song, maybe even 2 songs at the same time. Don't hear the songs, just breathe. If you hear voices, just forget them and breathe. Just breathe in and out through your nose. Try it without music, standing, sitting. Just watch how many distracting thoughts keep coming.

With these words, I can't communicate what I'm trying to get across here or what I've experienced in these past weeks (I'm trying though, damnit :-D). The universe is asking you only one thing right now, and that's to pay attention. Once you let go of it all, and totally forget who you are... you start feeling the changes. You don't have to be in the astral to experience the mind. You don't need to do it at the end of the day. You can do it right here, right now. Your physical reality is your dream. Dream here, live there, your home is wherever you make it.

The funniest part is that once you've crossed the lines, and try to just forget it, there are constantly reminders EVERYWHERE that change is coming.

Just breathe. That's all there is to it. Just breathe while looking at something, with your eyes closed, anything...Forget your "problems". And deal with the real problem, which is not being aware.

Not to be a dick, but quoting tool and not really saying much of interest makes for a somewhat boring thread, that's just my opinion though.

It's hard tho Fuck. After years and years of thinking like a mutha fucka it takes a long time to regain control over my mind.

Mainly because it's thinking that makes you forget that you're trying to cut down on it.

I'll keep trying tho.

That's just the problem, "saying" much of interest can keep people asking questions, can keep you "saying" things forever. When you learn not to say everything you're thinking of and just still the mind, you realize you don't even need to say anything. Just pay attention.

Try explaining to the people you know how perfect and beautiful they look, when experiencing an amazing state of mind. How do you think they'll respond? With questions, endless questions. Questions that make you think, and when you're unsure, they get confused, angry, mad, you feel guilt. You tried explaining something and got lost in words because you can't explain it. It's not about telling them how perfect they look, it's about looking at them with compassion and listening, communicating and speaking in turn perfectly. You learn to say everything directly as you mean it, and people respond accordingly and immediately with how they feel. It makes more sense when you meditate, just remember, breath awareness. Don't focus on every little thing you see with your eyes, jumping from one thing to another. Eyes are physical. Think of this: Do you look at your computer screen with the same eyes as you would a newborn baby? That's when you learn to focus... When you learn to just feel, and let your physical body follow along. Don't be led by the physical, be led by what feels right.

Trying to explain can keep you explaining forever, words are dead. The only thing that matters is mind. It's not like you meet spiritual beings everywhere immediately, but it's like you just merge with everything, at your own pace. Everything just speaks to you in such a meaningful way. Just focus, on one thing at a time, not getting worked up at all, and keep breathing. Everything you need will already be there, it always has been. It's thought that pushes it away.

Try breathing in while looking at shadows and breathing out while looking at, well, whatever's in front of you, or over there, over here. Breathe out light. You'll start seeing your fear separated from light, shadows seem like fear. (fear that there is no light without the sun, or moon, or whatever.) There is no darkness in the non-physical. There is no darkness in the rainbow. There's no darkness in light, but the light is within, that's what we need to realize.

*edit*

I found out later that breathing in black and breathing out light was already a meditation technique. Using this technique showed me how the physical is illusion, I started seeing people's fears chasing them around, physically. It gets frightening sometimes, so it's important to mentally focus on one thing at a time. After a while, certain people would just shine brighter, and start talking to me with something they learned in life. Their eyes glowed bright, and they looked at me with a smile. When you smile (inside) at the universe, it smiles back at you. Even physical objects seem like they're reaching out to you more, with love, with hope, fear, everything you feel. This moment is holy. My words won't teach you it, you will have to learn yourself. I didn't teach you how to breathe http://www.totse.com/bbs/wink.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/wink.gif)

It's so amazing, and this is only the beginning. Wanting "psychic" skills will only keep you wanting. Learn to meditate and you'll find your life is perfect, and you're a co-creator of this perfection. Then intuition will follow, you can ride with life any way you want to.
