sittting here i can't help but think about the futility of it all. Let us bring it into perspective. There is one constant and that is change. Change comes with time. Something we can never escape and can NEVER get back. With that in mind, time ticks on and it will continue to do so after our brief existence. Our time is limited and precious so why do waste it flamin' and complainin'. we could sure use some change in our world, why don't focus on that? I guess it really doesn't matter cause we will all turn to dust and even if we atttempted change, would it really matter? Who can tell?

if change is an eternal constant, then so is the possibility that things will get better.

people only want change if it benefits them. eg, cutting pollutant emissions will help everyone, but then could lead to job losses/increased power bills. it wouldnt benefit the individual, but it would benefit the whole human race. but we are greedy.
