I ordered a sample of habanero hot sauce http://www.hotexas.com and got this along with something trying to get me to order more habanero shit from their site, its a christian thing,
I dont want to type out the whole flier/whatever but here is a part to discuss: (a bible passage)
"for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of god is eternal life through christ jesus. (romans 6:23)
"for god so loves the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes on him shall perish, but have everlasting life (john 3:16)
now this just sounds like a verse written by ancient controllers/myth pushers or even actual believers partly, trying to control peeps into not sinning, and worshipping jesus christ and entangling jesus christ into the myth story/tale/whataever of "christianity".
why would a god, knowing full well (he should!) that people will be cynical and such like some of us now (in the future from when (lets just say god did create earth and all) god created the earth), why would a god make it a requirement to believe in "jesus christ" "his supposed son" knowing there will be cynics due to the way he developed humans minds?
christains will be quick to say "well dont be cynical, just read the bible look at the trees blah blah" well thats not enough proof, god should know, being god, that humans would evolve and become smarter trying to figure out shit around them, inventing science, and since there is know scientific proof that god said anything at all, let alone about not going to heaven if you dont believe in jesus...it just doesnt make sense.
god is perfect according to christianity (or is he?) so there would not even be a chance of anyone being a cynic if there is a god...from what i understand. i remain agnostic, i dont see how anyone can scientifically proove or disproove god no matter how many flaws there is in the bible, that (bible) came after god if there is a god.
so he should of made some permanent thing in everyones mind where they *know* there is jesus and god and everything in the bible is true, or done something...and then had the condition that if we did not pray to jesus and god or at least recognize in our minds and respect him and god, for what they did and for the earth and all...we go to hell...but thats not the case.
opinions?
