If so, who came first?

The Creator(God), or, uhm, The Creator(Humans)?

What came first the chicken or the egg? Pick one then life goes on, but don't pick one based on logic or anything "smart" like that. Thinking is only a stumbling block in the path of true knowledge for neither response is any better than the other. The only thing that matters is how much of an asshole you are.

GOD had to be defined by humans in order for 'him' to exist in our world. GOD was defined as a 'he' therefore giving 'him' a human identity. images of GOD have been created in order for 'him' to be seen in human form and 'he' is obviously portrayed as a great figure of imense power and compassion. this gives everyone an easily understandable image to worship.

i like the word GOD but it is only a signpost to something far beyond our ability to define and simply requires an acceptance and deep faith.

personally i like discussions about GOD and our personal beliefs. i believe in a power greater than myself and certainly wouldn't claim to have the ultimate definition of what GOD is. i don't believe anyone has.
