Well I was thinking about this during biology, and what I though was, what if god was the true evil one? Almost every god-worshipping religion I come across tries to force me to join, or they try to scare me into joining. But when I meet the satanists at my school, they don't bug me about religion one bit. I say some religions are like cults or gangs, they want to force you to join, so they can have more members. What if satan is testing us by seeing how susceptible we are to the true evil one? I may be wrong but I sure stumped them christian dorks.

You can love God without being in a religeon.
I strive to love god. That is, I strive to understand him because to understand him is to love him. Everything about god is positive, if it's not positive, then it's not god.

Yeah, that's a good point. If Satan has the ability to deceive, then how do Christians know that anything they believe comes from God?

God represents love (Amongst other things). Aim for love and you can't go wrong.
The devil represents fear and suffering (again amongst other things). Since no-one wants suffering we are on a natural course away from it. Some faster than others, some don't know how to move away from it, some do and try to teach others. Move away from fear and suffering by aiming for the top; love, God, truth, call it what you will.
Edit: The devil wouldn't be able to deceive using love. If the devil knew anything of love then he to would also move towards it.
I don't understand how the devil could exist, but I think if he did he'd be one scared mutha fucka.
