Haha, I was just talking to my friend about that a minute ago. We were discussing elite speech, AOL shorthand, drug babies, pagan fads, and the bisexual fad.

1. On elite speech: The quality of the language is being eroded. In the AP course I TA for, I was grading a paper and the student actually used AOL shorthand and elite speech throughout it. This is fucking Advanced Placement English and Literature. Without quality language to convery thoughts, there can be no quality in the thoughts we share.

2. When in highschool, every year the freshmen were shorter and shorter on average. I'm going to attribute this to the massive abuse of drugs back in the 60s and 70s, and the spread of crack and smack into the middle and upper-middle class in the 80s and 90s. This massive drug abuse causes children with poor thinking skills and poor physical qualities to be born. Essentially, we evolved to the point of 'free love, free drugs', and are now on a quick 5 generation trip into stone age intellect and structure. When this generation grows up, we're royally fucked with drug babies and retards.

3. The pagan and bisexual fad: more than ever, the herd mentality is taking over. It's almost to the point that if anyone points out the absurdity of current conditions they'd be killed. We're fucking ourselves over by questioning nothing, and soon, once somebody does, it will do no good. The upcoming generation is full of pure sheep who consider themselves rebels by fitting the stereotype of their peers.

-I was once bleeted at like a sheep to note my supposed or percieved un-originality in a specific action, (a notion based on ignorance and unthoughtfulness,) in fact this was very far from the case, within seconds, one more started bleating, two ect. I was amaized at the stupidity of the masses aswell.

Perhaps not serious about these ideas, but I'll take it as if you are for now.

A. With the leet speech and AOL shorthand; I shit you not, that truly happened. I'm assuming the guy did it as a joke, but the fact that the two debaucheries of the English language have become so common place that people make a joke of it like that is just pathetic. The student must have been a genius, but most humans are not. In the hands of an intelligent and capable being, it doesn't erode the quality much at all; most humans, being quite impressionable and foolish, are going to destroy quality thoughts.

B. We're now taller than ever ON AVERAGE. Do you see tall kids anymore? I'm only 5'11", and I rarely meet teenagers who reach my height, and very very rarely meet one who exceeds it. The new generation is full of babies born to parents who used drugs, and full of kids who grew up on fast food, completely lacking in the necessary nutrition for correct growth.

C. It seems you agreed, so I don't believe a counterpoint is necessary to defend what I typed.

I'm glad you wrote again. I must say, I was not in a good state of mind when I posted that.

I agree with you about most of it, I just think your being way to hard, or eg. how is the pagan and bi-sexual trend any different from rock'n'roll? I don't see it having any realy bad effects anyway, nor is it like some "disease amoungst our young" which was also Socrates' crime of the time.

I not positive, but I'm pretty sure that on average were getting taller, still, and that it should continue for sometime, I think I got this from Dr. Karl, which proably won't mean anything to anybody outside of Australia, but he's usualy very trust worthy.

Language is kind of the same, I don't realy think it can be butched to a very bad exent. In single cases yes, but it will always change as wee change anyway, and I think over longer periods of time, for the better, just as man gets better, theoricaly so should everything that goes along with that.

Go watch The Big Labowski and chill out, none of this is to worry about.

Sub note- My piont with the story is because of ignorence, people could see a sheep in me, and I cleared noted the sheep instincts in them, which was ultimately hypocritical on they're own parts.

Everybody follows to some extent, very few people are original enough to decide to 'question' without even that being introduced to them. And very offten this is due to curcumstances like upbring and social/intelectual awearness.

Hex, I agree with ALMOST everything that I have seen you post. Almost. I like what you have to say. I agree with everything I've seen here. My friend Tod and his brother keep telling me to listen to some Bill Hicks, but I haven't had the pleasure. I've heard that his views are similar to mine, though until I hear his I can't be sure.

You might be nearly as angry as him.

I used to love the guy, I still do but I find him a little hard to listen to when he's been realy abusive. You should be able to properly apreshiate him I think.

Perhpas not about the God stuff though, then he may put an new light on it for you... who knows.
