Just a question for those of you that are into religion

Why does it matter what someone believes if they are a good person? What is the point of proselitizing someone else?

My questions state my point of view and are my own way of proselitizing the rest of you, but oh well...

In a lot of cases people trying to convert you genuinely want to save you from hellfire and damnation.

A nice thought I guess, but it's not like I haven't heard it all before.
