My dad is the biggest christian i have ever come across, and he does not believe in evolution. i think this is fucking ridiculous to be honest but i came home from college one day and explained to him about biodiversity i then walked away confused as fuck because in my eyes evolution and biodiversity are exactly the same.

Biodiversity and evolution are related but not the same thing. Biodiversity is the result of evolution.

You realy don't have much of a chance of convincing someone who does not believe in evolution otherwise. In their mind they know all the answers to the the questions of the universe. They need to doubt the stories in the Bible first before they will go looking for other answers. Good luck if you continue to try to convince your Dad that evolution is real. But it will probly never happen.
