Took them long enough. They apologised to Galileo for almost burning him am putting him in jail, maybe in a century or so they will apologise for allowing priests to rape boys for hundreds of years.

Just who are they apologizing to though? Everyone they wronged is long dead. This seems to me less like apologizing and most like saying "whoops, my bad." With a half-hearted shrug of the shoulders.

Everyone committed attrocities during the centuries in the crusades. Hell, as long as the Holy Land has been the Hold Land, people have been committing attrocities in the name of their holy being. The entire piece of ground is soaked in the blood of butchered armies and innocents alike. And the Jews did their fair share of putting towns to sword. Read some basic history, and maybe next time you won't come off as such an ingoramus.
