View Full Version : unconditional love
God tried to proclaim unconditional love.
Here's my theory on unconditional love.
Say i'm god.
I made everything, all humanity, everything.
Now, i'd be like this: "believe in me if you want, thats awesome, if you dont, thats kewl too - i aint going to put you to death beause you believe differently than what i EXPECT. If you want to acknowlede me for creating you, GREAT, if you dont, thats kewl tooo - you believe what you want. Just perhaps a bonus for you that youve taken the time out to appreciate me for what ive done.
I try to teach compassion, or unconditional love. Yet i dont practice it? Yet i put people to an eternity of suffering just because they dont worship me for being there in the beginning?
Bah FUck that - i'd rather say - well, ive given you all this - you do what you want. Believe in me if you like, but id prefer for you to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF FIRST. then make up your own mind what you want to worship, cars, pussy, animals, yourself, whatever.
THATs unconditional love.
They're discussing it here:

And that's what we get. Don't believe everything that one of the religeons say.
Life is a playground. We play till we become adults.

I have been taught, and accept as true, that we will have attained spiritual perfection when we can transcend fear and manifest unconditional love.
I can do the ul thing with rocks and critters--dogs, cats and so forth--but most people are just too mean, stupid, and fearful for me to give them ul at my present stage of spiritual evolution.
Maybe next lifetime.

Arms, I'm much the same. I have UL for most everything but humans; we thrive on ignorance and hatred...it's hard to love that.

Sniper, may I ask what the fuck Rev 19:13 has to do with unconditional love?
I love you all right now
e-
So what do I have to do to maintain this?
Stop myseslf from falling
or to g/hold a centre and let myself yo-yo around it.
It's possible to maintain love at your core and still hate and love, (see Jesus and the fig tree, which was his personality) the latter two being a little different, which is where most people get stuck.
The love that Jesus embodied, the unconditional love was not a feeling, but a being, if you could call it that, it is related to Qi, Buddhanature, Logos, it runs though everything, and is everything. When you see this, it is all you see. Well, you can hold it at your centre, while everything else rolls around it. Your strength my/might dictate, perhaps that is just nature, stone and water.

Animals are easier to love than human beings. They return it unconditionally and have no sense of moral judgement. They also make better roommates, and never remind you "about that time you _______ (insert humiliating moment)", nor do they keep a mental scorecard of rights and wrongs, like us 'higher evolved' people do.
The downside is that they sometimes uncontrollably defecate or vomit indoors, on your flooring. But look at how much trouble infants are! Drunken teens!

There is something bothering me here.
If God were delivering this message to humans, how could anyone getting this message NOT believe in God ? You would have to. It would't make sense to tell someone that he doesn't have to believe in your existence. From the simple fact of getting and understanding your message he would KNOW without a doubt that you exist.
So telling you that you are free "not to believe" would make no sense ! That freedom not to believe could be implied by God's generosity, love, mercy or however you want to call it, but He wouldn't tell you in so many words, as getting this exact message to you would go against its own purpose.
I am not sure if you see what I mean, but well.

If the God doesn't care if you worship it though, then it matters not that you are pretty much going to believe they exist.
