I like my circumcised penis. I find it to be very user-friendly and low maitenance.

I was originally done because people in the desert don't have too much water for washing, so unless you wanted to wash your cock with sand you were very liable to get infections under the foreskin.

So, they removed the foreskin.

The origins, however, of the practice isn't judaic or middle eastern - it's central african, where both male and female circumcision are still practiced.

i know this kid from the philipines and they circumsized him when he was 7 so he remebers it and he said they put a pointed stick in the ground and pushed his penis down on it.

From what i heard it was brought to the US as a vein atempt to stop or lessen the amount of masterbation. So by removing the foreskin it would damage the penis (thus reducing the amount of pleasure) as much as possible with out affecting it's function.

I think it's fucked up. Uncircumcised people have more feeling in the head.

I read in the paper a few years ago about a man who sued the hospital that circumsized him as a baby because he claimed that it reduced the amount of pleasure he had during sex. Sucks for him, like I said, I'm glad I still have my foreskin.

Those lower rates may be unrelated to the procedure its-self.

The families that might circumsise children may often be the one's that are pretty strong on them not having sex before marriage.

Just reminded me of something I read about the trial of an anti-aides drug.

You should read my previous post, Glitter. Circumcision as a form of masturbation control is a central african tradition performed on females, where the clitoris is removed. Otherwise it's done to keep down the spread of infection.
