I belive that a childs actions are directly related to how the parents treat and raise there children. The world today is filled with death, pain, and suffering caused by the human race. Were a bunch of kids gone wild in a sence. What does that say about our "father" the Lord?

parents and their children have a direct, physical, face to face relationship which even then doesn't stop bad things from happening

i think this is a free will issue. We have it. I don't know how much God intervenes, but He has "His shit on lockdown" as much as He wants.

well, most theoligans would say that basically god operates in a plane of reality that our spacial/temporal concepts of the world cannot fathom.

like trying to imagine what's beyond space. Since space does have an end. Somewhere there's a boundry where there is empty space as we know it and then there is nothing. not even empty space. can't imagine it.

^ exactly ^

it's the kinda stuff you can't even begin to wrap your head around.

in Zman's example if space is a defined area, then there is an end to it, what is this area of non-space??? or if you believe it is infinite, just try to think about the vastness of it.

It's just stuff you can never begin to understand.

It speaks volumes, actually, if you truly believe it. Parents have direct interactions with their children from birth to death. How they were treated as children really does have a direct affect on how they treat others. That isn't to say that children who had a model childhood and positive upbringing won't turn out to be thugs, rapists, murderers, or thieves. Your mind is "formed" at a young age to know right from wrong, and most children really struggle to win the approval of their parents before they hit puberty. Seems like there is a threshhold that a person reaches when parental approval is no longer important to them, and they feel the urge to "test" the world and it's boundaries. The fact that young people "have gone wild" is just a testament to how individuality overrides the urge to conform. When you outgrow the need to "do good" by your parents, there is always religious guilt to cling to and carry with you into adulthood.

"With two clenched fists, break to pieces the covering of empty space. With my two fists, I shatter empty space. The covering of empty space is gone, so that there is no empty space at all. There is nothing left. Heaven and earth are no longer to be seen anywhere. Everything has disappeared."

^Nirvana, being no Nirvana at all. ahhh it was going to be easier just to say nothing.

I think of the world as something like a flower, growing out of the earth, blooming, dying, and becoming earth again. So we would sink back into that thing that was empty space, but in that place they're was nothing, and never was.. always was?

Is the earth responsable for what is brings forth? To a degree, the nature of the soil will dictate the life. So our nature dictates our world, we all injest harmful things, it is any wonder we operate in a state that is also somewhat harmful>?

I was reading today, an angry person, with anger chemicals often running around they're body, molds they're organs, and every part of themselves, with these chemicals. Each feeding into the other, eventualy they have a heart attack, or they're liver falls apart, muscles always tensed up, it just becomes who they are.

Same with people who are depressed, your body will mold yourself aroung this deressed state, and grow into it, get stuck there.

Also same with happy. Lustful.

It will alter your perceptions, perceptions alter actions, action situations and senarios, life.. all going around in circles.
