i hav a question 4 christians i am atheist and i am wondering how ppl can actually believe in god how can u believe somthing that som guy just made up a long time ago i am wondering r u brainwashed or just stupid?

To the thread starter: If your serious about your query, (which it's pretty obvious you aren't) look at some of the other threads. They explain things much better, and people from your side are 10 times as articulate and intelligent as you.

#1. People "can actually" believe in God for numerous reasons. Many people see joys and things in their lives that they can only attribute to God. Others were raised christian and continued the faith. Others want to be saved, according to the Bible. It's a plethora of things and until you can be specific I can't give a definitive answer.
#2. No. No brainwashing (for the most part). No. No stupidity. Not anymore stupidity than can be tacked on to athiests like you.

#3- there is actually a rational basis for the christian claims to be true.
For me, the only reason I am still a christian is that I am yet to see an adequate non-supernatural (is that a a word?) explanation for the resurrection of Yeshua.
