View Full Version : Some clarification...

It has been brought up numerous times, so I feel the need to clarify what my screen name means.

"Digital Savior" is not a reference to me, in any way, shape, or form.

It is not my "Mr. Hyde" personality of arrogance shining through, here.

I was once a whimsical writer...and I often manipulated words in ways that produced mental pictures. Whether I was good at it or not...*shrugs*

At any rate, this was my intention when I created the name. To create a mental picture...most of us seem to spend inordinate amounts of time in the cyber world. My screen name was intended to be a play on words, based around our "virtual" lifestyles.

It also has some "real life" purpose, as I intend to open a mobile computer repair business in the near future (I am a network administrator), and wanted to incorporate my faith into my business. (and yes,it's already been patented *winks*)

So, either you all are misconstruing the name to be a display of egotism on my part, in order to make yourselves feel better for hating me for being Christian, OR I was bad at conveying its purpose.

Either way, I hope the confusion has been quelled.

*wonders how long this will float before it is pulled for not "truly" adhering to the topic at hand*

It won't get pulled. LostCause is either absent or very leniant. She's tight like that.

Oh and are you afraid of losing some business to your faith based company? or are you planning on gathering more clients because of it?

Neither. It would be wrong to seek gain by using Christianity as a crutch. *clears throat for TBN, the 700 Club, and the Catholic Church*

I just believe in incorporating God into every aspect of my life. If my business is successful, then it will be because it is God's will...and hence, will serve Him some sort of purpose.

In everything in my life, I give God the glory. Even the bad stuff...a lot of the things that I thought were unfair, or which caused me a great amount of emotional duress worked out for the best. It takes time to see the results of such happenings, and I am amazed at how God works, in hindsight.

Anyway, it wouldn't be fair of me to say that only the good things that happen in my life are from God, because we don't always know His intentions for us.

"If you blame others for your failures, give them credit when you succeed."

Meh, I never really judge people on names either, although I did think yours implied you were trying to convert people.
