To be Anti-Jesus would mean to be against him, or deny his existence (in my opinion). That could be construed as "reaching", but Jesus is a historical person, whether you believe he is the son of God or not.

So, these groups of people tend to make fun of him, rebel against him, or downright pretend like he didn't exist.

Either way, it's anti-jesus.

Just like I am anti-Nazi, though I don't belong to a group of people that specifically represents this mentality.

Nah, actually I don't. I think Jesus was a cool guy who was greatly misunderstood and ironically his beliefs were hijacked to serve the cause he died fighting against.

I believe Jesus was a enlightened teacher, but not the son of god. I believe there was an historical Jesus, does this make me anti-Jesus?

Biblically, a prophet is a mouthpiece of God, a social/moral/religious conscience for the people, Jesus did just that.

Now him being the Messiah is up for question, but he was definately a prophet.

I would think that Jesus would like to have people laughing in his name, nothing relieves the soul of worrisome burdens better than a hearty laugh.

If anyone would like to see what Jesus was probably REALLY like, then I would recommend The Visual Bible series of Matthew, on DVD or VHS.

This isn't a shameless plug...in this series, the book of Matthew is re-enacted, word for word. Jesus is shown laughing, wrestling around with his followers, getting angry, and weeping with sorrow.

He has a full range of human emotions, and this version truly opened my eyes to the fact that though he was the son of God, when he was here, he was still HUMAN.

It's awesome...I highly recommend it.

Anywho, I would recommend looking on eBay. It sells retail for almost $100 for the series (both Acts and Matthew), and I got mine from eBay for $20.

The markup would be even higher at a Christian bookstore...I don't recommend that avenue.
