hi,

i have this friend who keeps insiting which religion are better and which are worse. he keeps saying that hindu is the most superior religion and keeps talking about how good is their religious books.

can anyone give me some links to original hindu books that have really evil stuff or morally wrong (polygammy, selling of humans..)

Here's a wild idea : Ignore your friend. If he feels that superior, chances are, you are not going to be able to convince him otherwise. Do something better with your time.

Rule of thumb:

If a religion claims to be the "one true religion", you can be a 100% sure it's not, there is no such thing.

Or maybe it would be wise to try and assist that friend in becoming tolerant of others who do not believe the same things they do.

I will always offer the Christian perspective on things, but I am still tolerant of those who don't agree with me (unless they are being hostile/confrontational about it)
