Last Thursday at uni, during Cultural Awakenings week, I had the pleasure of taking part in an Inter-faith workshop.
There was about 16 people present, representing:
Ba' Hai (sp?)
Hindu
Shin Bhuddism
Some other type of Bhuddist
Protestant (liberalish) Christians
and a Roaming Catlick
It all went pretty well for the first go, no punch ons... however the inter-christian workshop this week....
Anyway, I thought i might share some of the questions we worked through in small groups if ppl are interested:

Setting the Scene
Two questions will be put by Renee to the group as a whole, answers recorded on a whiteboard:
• What do you think is positive about people from different faiths meeting together to learn from each other?
• What are some of the challenges or difficulties of communicating with people from different backgrounds?
In small groups
• Can you share with the group two or three beliefs or concepts from your faith which are meaningful for you.
• What religious practices do you engage in on the level of your personal faith life? (e.g. rituals, meditation, prayer, reading, food regulations etc)
• Do you meet regularly with people who share your beliefs? If so, what does that community look like? Are you involved with more than one? (what is it called? How many people? where do you meet & do you have a name for the place you meet in? how often do you meet? for what?)
• What is one activity/event/program that your community runs that makes you excited/glad/proud to be a part of that community?
• How do you think your culture has shaped your faith?
• How do you plan to combine your faith and studies to benefit others when you leave University?
• In a multifaith setting like the university, what does you faith teach you about a way forward for people of different faiths to work together?
