I am currently reading Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler and was wondering if any jews have read the book? If you have, i'd like to hear your comments on it. I'd espeacially like to hear your comments on Jewish Zionism and the nationalistic views of Jewish people. I'm not trying to be a racist bastard or anything, I just want an opinion. They are some pretty big accusations after all. So please save it for someone else if your just going to label me.

No one reads that book, I saw copies of it with a inch-thick layer of dust covering them at a bookstore. I think people are afraid to read it, since they might look like Neo-Nazis if they did.

Mein Kampf is NOT communist. Just because Hitler termed his party the 'National Socialists', does not mean that he affiliated himself with Marx and his idiotic ideals. First of all, i'm not even American.

Second of all, I read these books so I understand different points of view. It doesn't mean that I believe them.

1. When the president makes an address it shows on every channel and radio station. Hitler also had massive demonstrations and had his speaches played on radio and speaker phones.

2. Ever notice that the american flag is always everywhere at the speach or convention. Same thing, except it was the swastika in the background.

3. How about the fact that the patriot act is practically the same thing as the enabling act that hitler had passed after he burnt down the Riechstag and claimed that they needed to pass a the act to protect Germany from terrorists. You can substitute Germany with the United States and Hitler with Bush if you like.

Nazi's were patriotic (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=patriotic)... that's obvious from history. How is saying this blatantly obvious fact in any way agreeing with the sentiments expressed by Hitler? There is something patriotic about burning Jews in ovens if you are believing it is for the benefit of your people and country. That doesn't mean it's right; hell, I believe it's wrong... but that doesn't lessen the intensity of their patriotism. Additionally, patriotism isn't necessarily wrong. It all depends on the intent and driving force behind it.

Here's another point: I am not putting money into Hitler's pocket. He's dead. I am putting money into the pockets of publishing companies that secured the rights to his book. In fact, my copy of Mein Kampf spends about 500 pages of Foreword talking about Hitler's evils and what's wrong about the information in the text (This written by an English Professor of History). The book itself in no way advocates Hitler's ideas, instead it serves as a warning and allows people an insight into the mind behind the inception of WWII. Oh, and it's not supporting terrorism since the publishers are not in league with terrorists.

Final point. I am not in a 'Blame America First', crowd. I am not making ANY excuses for 'evil doers'. I am sitting here and making sure that people say Hitler is wrong for his wrongs, not for his imaginary 'communist', affiliations. The man did numerous horrible things, I am amazed that you feel the need to invent criticisms.

Plenty of US citizens and corporate leaders supported Hitler during his rise to power and many corporations, including GM, Ford, DuPont, and IBM traded with Germany throughout the war, giving them the resources to exterminate the Jews and continue with their war. I am half German if anyone was wondering. I'm reading this book cause I want to learn about the places I came from. My family actually fled to Russia when the Nazis took control. They became wealthy farmers but were eventually given the choice of leaving Russia or being shot. Then the army drove their tanks over the town and it now no longer exists. My family got fucked over by those nazi bastards. You guys think I would support a madman like Hitler or the modern Hitler, Bush.
