They explain everything in a relativly non-bias way, and explain even the misconceptions about satanism. If you need anything else, really, just write them at churchofsatan.com . They are the original site created by Mr.Levay(The Black Pope[Creator Of Modern Satanism]), and will try to help you understand what ever it is you need to.

Lavey is for posers who are just cashing in on the stigma of Satan- there is no actual worship, or even acknowledgement, of Satan in Laveyan anything, so to call it anything but atheism or humanism is a misnomer perpetrated by liars and loser dropouts.

From the website you claim to have visitted, wench:

"The Demons are the Nephilim, (the original Gods) the ancient extra-terrestrials who came to Earth to mine for gold thousands of years ago. They are are very intellectually, physically and spiritually advanced. Many took human wives/husbands and were cursed for this by other Gods who opposed anything that would educate or elevate human beings above that of an animal. Human beings were intended to be slaves and when the mining project was finished, they were to be destroyed. The Demons befriended humans and wished for us to become as the Gods."

I say "Claimed to visit" because I cant see how you can get an internet browser to function with your horrible typing and spelling.

Why would anyone worship a known loser? There's even a book, or so I'm told. Fucking dimwits, you would be better off worshipping feces,at least the consequences are less severe, or known.

Well, since there is no fiery tormet in the Bible, (just eternal seperation from heaven), if one hates god, and loves and serves the king of the region most distant from god, it is logical to wish to enter that kingdom with marginal power and respect.

Please lower your religious shields and listen for a second. Beleive me, I'm not going to trick you into being a satanist.

I cant speak for all satanists but I can speak for Aliester (sp?) Crowley-based based Satanists, one of the most popular branches (depressed white kids following in the foot-steps of rock stars who practiced, normally).

First, and foremost, they recognize a differance between "Satanism" and worshiping satan. A.C. Satanists DO NOT worship satan. They do, however, follow what could be called the teachings of Satan.

They beleive in the chaos of men. Most humans have at some point or another felt the urge to steal, lie, cheat, or maybe even kill. Christians look at this as satan trying to tempt them into sin.

This is where satanism got it's name... not from the worship of satan but simply because to beleive in satan, you must beleive in what the bible has to say. If the bible says that satan is the cause of our natural human urges, then people who beleive in following those urges would be following satan.

I am not a satanist and I would never consider it, I beleive we need order in the world. However, I have a certain degree of respect for -real- satanists (not the posers). I think it's a perfectly logical concept, however simple... if you feel like doing something, do it. If you want something from someone and they aren't strong enough to protect it, you can take it.

Concepts that I dont agree with but make sense. Humans are animals and we're never going to change that. If christianity didn't exist, most "Satanists" would probably be called "Humanists", they follow the natural whims of their body... the whims christians call evil.

Putting it simply, satanism is just Christianity but sort of turned upside-down and inside-out.

Since Christianity is mostly BS to begin with, satanism is just upside-down etc BS.

I'm reading A History Of Satanism by Josef McCabe right now, and it's pretty interesting stuff.

To begin with, "Satan" did not exist as a personal being until after Genesis. Before that "Satan" was just an expression to describe what Satan eventually became.

And according to all religious doctrine, the first "Satan" was Persian and his name was Angra something or other (I have to look that up again).

Cheers,

Lost

Ahriman, also called Angra Mainu (sp?) in the old Persian culture.

Realize that satan is just a name, it merely refers to the deity which we speak of. It's a label. He has other names such as enki, ea, and ptah. Just because the first satanic being was persian, doesn't mean that it was our god.

Following desires on a whim is called hedonism. Which existed much before "satanism".

Gee... and there I was thinking that Aleister Crowley founded a religion called Thelema.

That isn't to say his lifestyle wasn't hedonistic, or that he didn't sometimes style himself as "the beast 666", but he wasn't a satanist.

There is no such thing as Crowlian Satanism.

I believe what you were refering to was Leveyvian satanism - humanistic/atheistic hedonism.

I love religion. It's so cool, since you can just put just about kind of person/form or whatever. Then have it be your "god".
