View Full Version : This seems wrong to me...
I was driving down the street today and stopped at a walgreens to buy a pack of smokes. When I got back into my car I noticed a church which was called "Church on the Green." and there was a picture of a golf cart on a putting green and in place of that little flag that goes in the hole there was a crucified jesus poking out of it.
Now I don't know about anyone else but this left me baffled if not slightly annoyed.
Just thought I would share this. Comments welcomed.

Eh. That's typical.
That kind of stuff is peculiar though.
For instance, why would anyone turn they're god into a cardboard car air freshener?
Cheers,

I cannot believe you fell for this troll.
You think that's a true story?

Even if its not a true story, there are a lot of groups like that that do rocks-for-brains stuff like that.

I've seen worse. Commericalized religion is everywhere in America. So much for reverence.

I'd say it was just more "Piscean Age is dying" stuff.

I know of a church at Nelson's Bay that has "Carols on the Green", mostly because they're property is a former lawn bowls club....
Not quite the same though.
BTW http://www.ship-of-fools.org has a *nice* range if christian merchandise.
