Does existence have a foundation? (one which expresses itself in religion)? If so what is it? It could be pure energy or nothing more than the concentration of molecules. But it is a religious force, in my opinion.

I find it interesting that most people seperate, mentally or spiritually, the idea of a shared spiritual/mental link. They see themselves, creatures who perceive, as real but not plants and rocks. What makes us different? In the end, you will be or already have been a rock. No matter your view on it, our atoms and every atom for that matter is at a minimum of 10,000 years old and to alot, including myself, over 6 billion years old. What makes it so that these forms that we hold, humans or animals, that gives us a soul? Why is it that spiritual energy only manifests itself in this way? In my opinion that I ahve been forming for years, it does not. It would make far more sense if all matter had a soul, not as a collective unit but as one trillion individuals, like the direct democracy of ancient Athens. Intristically, all matter holds its own "soul," that intangible force that carries over from time to time while relationally it communes to form the greater whole, you. Therefore, this world would be both spiritual and physical simultaniously. One would not then, by definition, be reborn into a new body or pass on into a new place (Nirvana, Brahma, Heaven) but instead each of your atoms would go to something different, maybe to soil and maybe to a new being. We would all be manifestations of this latent divinity within all of us. One would assume that there could be something to be done to hold onto your "soul" and either pass on to a new place or be reborn into a new form with your complete essence, but I have not worked this out mentally that far. Note that I do not believe this but that this is simply a mental exercise that became a pet project of mine.

This may soon be possible with computers. One that has a HD as sophisticated as the human brain can handle most of its functions.
